A couple of days ago, I returned from an 8-day trip to Orlando, Florida with my wife. I created this blog as a place to collect and compose all of my notes, observations, insights and conclusions from this trip. I think that most anyone with an interest in casual games, design, theme park, entertainment, illusions–and how these things will be changing in the years ahead–will find these notes interesting and amusing.
About the Trip
From September 5th to September 12th, 2009, the entirety of our vacation, we stayed on-site at Walt Disney World. The weather was in the high 80’s and low 90’s, very humid, with daily tropical showers. But our trip coincided with the week of Labor Day, which signals the end of the peak season at the resort already reeling from the recession. Attendance at the parks and resorts was light, with practically no school-age kids or teens present. It was the ideal time for a couple of grown-ups to enjoy an experience usually relegated to kids.
I hope you find useful information, and a bit of entertainment, from reading my observations here. Bye!
